Fort Hays Tech | 秘密入口 is seeking an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. FHNW is a small, rural two-year technical college located in Goodland, KS.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to supporting the head coach in the following areas: operating the men's basketball program (recruiting, scheduling, fundraising, travel, budgeting and practice plans); coaching, teaching, and training students in skills and strategies related to competition; and mentoring and maintaining discipline of student athletes ensuring their academic progress. Knowledge and skills to assist with Hudl, Synergy, film and social media required.
Work hours for an assistant collegiate coach/recruiter are non-traditional and travel will be necessary in order to be successful in this position. Bus driving may also be required, so holding a current commercial driver’s license, with passenger and airbrakes endorsements, is a plus.
The assistant coach shall represent Fort Hays Tech | 秘密入口 and the program in a professional manner, while enforcing college and NJCAA and KJCCC guidelines governing the sport.
This position is a 12-month position with onsite work required August 1 through May 31 with the summer months being flexible for allowed vacation time and remote work with the exception of a few on campus events. Compensation includes salary, benefits, and on-campus room and board (no summer board, board plan follows academic calendar).
